Blogging is a sure-fire way to gain attention. Whether you talk about your business or everyday life, you will find that your reader's will get to know you and remember the product or service you have to offer. You can add a blog area to your website order or create a "blog only" site. Each comes with quality graphics and a blogging lesson to get you started. The blogging process is completely FREE. It does, however, involve some time on your part and it's time well spent. You'll need to dedicate at least 30 minutes to an hour every week or more updating a blog, and responding to customer comments and questions. It's a perfect project for a secretary if you're busy. For that matter, South Shore Studio has a social media and content management service to update your blog, Facebook and Twitter pages as per your request on your schedule.

No Computer Techno-Geek

First of all, we understand what it's like to feel like a jellyfish speaking with computer geeks that try to talk over your head to impress you. We don't speak techno-geek!

You'll find that our entire site and our order forms are written in plain, old English and when we speak with you on the phone, we're just everyday folks. We're a Georgia company so you may hear a bit of a southern drawl.

 

What You'll Get With Your Order

Your website will be designed using an attractive, one-of-a-kind layout that may include marquees, rollover colors and the like. You may supply images or we will create all of the images for you. It's included in the package! We'll design a new custom logo (if you want one), a map to your location or some printable coupons all at no additional cost. If you have any design ideas, feel free to share them and we'll do our best to incorporate them into your site.

You may supply background music, a link to a YouTube video or a Flash file for us to incorporate onto your site. You can link to Twitter or Facebook if you subscribe to those services.

We will help you select a domain name (if you need one) and host the site for you for FREE for an entire year.

You may choose a "blog only" website or add a blog to your website order. Choose from a list of options (called widgets and plug-ins). We'll toss in a lesson by phone to walk you through the process of posting to your blog and receiving and deleting comments.

What You Don't Get With Your Order

Our sites are professionally designed using the latest technology but are kept simple and clean to save you lots of dough. We don't offer numerous wireframe layouts, mock-up sign offs, contact forms or multiple revisions. These are services offered by large expensive web design firms and freelance web developers that charge $40-$50 an hour. If we did all that it would take up to 100-200 hours or more to build a 10 page site.

We avoid all the elements that tend to cause technical problems for new website owners, such as contact forms. We also leave off the expensive bells and whistles that take hours to create such as Flash animations and large image maps. If you don't know what those things are, you're in the clear already.

We do offer Flash animation design as a separate service. If you already have a Flash file created, send it to us and we'll put it on your site for you.

By the way, you also won't get any monthly payments, hassles or computer lingo. We've got your back!

By using a simple blog, a professionally designed Facebook Business Page and a unique Twitter Business Profile Page, you have access to thousands (or even millions) of potential customers. Social Media is now known as "viral" marketing. Why viral? Because word spreads fast with social media.

It's really pretty easy, actually. On Twitter and Facebook everyone is connected to lots of other people. You post on Facebook and your post appears on the pages of your friends/fans. Ordering Process

Fast and Simple Ordering Process

Ordering a website is easy. Get out your paper and pencil and decide exactly how many pages you want. (Home, Contact, Products, Services, etc.) Decide if you want a blog on your website. Then hop over to the Order Page to place your order and pay for your site.

We'll send you an order form via email for you to fill in at your leisure. You will be able to look at some ideas and examples to help you decide what works best for you. Contact Us via mail or phone with any questions you have along the way.

As soon as we receive your completed order form, our team will get busy creating for you. We'll contact you with any questions we have while working on your design project. We'll pretty up your site with a logo and pictures and then make sure it is well-liked by search engines, like Google. It's just as easy to order a blog or a Facebook or Twitter page.

Receiving Your Website

The best part! Once we receive your order form, our designers go to town and have a beautiful site ready for you usually in about 7-10 days. Larger projects may take longer. We upload the site for you and send you an email so you can check it for accuracy and for lots of smiles, too. You may opt to receive your website files via email so you can upload them yourself to your own server. Our goal is to make it easiest for you.

Making Changes to Your Site

Simple design or text changes are free for the first two weeks to be sure you have time to view and approve all the details. But you may find down the road that you are ready for a change or perhaps that 50% off coupon on your site has been just a little TOO effective. If you want to make a change, there is a small charge (usually $15 for easy text changes or to switch out an image for another one and $45 to create a brand new image or logo).
